Okay…I don’t even know what’s going on here. A German film crew flies to Houston and hires a guide to drive them around NASA neighborhoods, while they film the astronauts’ houses. Not creepy at all!

Then the crew heads down to the Manned Spacecraft Center and films the astronauts as they drive to work in their Corvettes. So we’re essentially stalking the astronauts, except that in this case we’re stalking in them in German, which somehow makes it worse.

Finally, there’s a brief interview with Alan Shepard, who is not fazed at all by the stalking, nor by the fact that they referred to his previous flight as “Friendship Zieben.”

Huh. It’s essentially the 60s version of TMZ for astronauts.

This really is like stalking. Kind of weird… 

The music is fantastic, though.
